The Import dialogue while the items in the file read were already recognized. This is the typical case, where the use of Read Map and Load Map buttons makes sense.
This is the way of import of general data (usable for solid elements above all). It is more or less independent from the data source. The import of MSC.Nastran data goes more straightforward way through the import of unique file types (*.nas, *.dat and *.pch).
